Friends, fun and activity is what you will find at the Yelm Senior Center.  Exercise, informative programs, games, creative arts, entertainment and many other special events are offered.  The center also provides information on senior programs and resources available in Yelm and the surrounding area.

Hours

The Senior Center is open Tuesday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Closed on New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, The 4th of July, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, day after Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. For more information, call 360-458-7733.

MEMBERSHIP 

Yelm Senior Center welcomes all senior citizens ages 50-plus in our area to join us for social, educational and fun programs. Annual dues of $36 per year provides you access to the center activities. Classes are free for members, unless a fee is indicated. You may also join the center if you are between the age 40 and 50 years old. Dues will be based on your age, for instance, if you are 45 years old, your dues will be $45.00 a year. Standard membership dues apply after age 50.

Meals

A hot, nutritious lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. til noon, Tuesday through Friday. Senior Services for South Sound operates the Senior Nutrition Program by using the Yelm Senior Center's commercial kitchen and Dining Room. This includes preparation of lunches at Yelm, Tenino and the Rochester senior centers and Meals on Wheels for homebound seniors in these areas. 

Meals at Yelm Senior Center have a $3.00 donation for those more than 60 years of age; $5.75 for all others. You do not need to be a member of the center to participate in the meals.
